Exploring the Function of Music in the Lives of Young People with Autism

Looking for young people aged 11-23 who have a diagnosis of autism to take part in a music project

I am a Master’s student at the University of Leeds studying for an MA in Applied Psychology of Music. I have also worked as a Support Worker for children and young people with autism for 6 years, and I am extremely passionate about understanding the role of music in the lives of young people with autism.   I am looking for young people aged 11-23, who have been diagnosed with autism, and are willing to take part in a 30-45 minute face-to-face interview about their experiences with music, and the function of music in their lives. If you, or someone you know may be interested in taking part, please email me at *mc13mlk@leeds.ac.uk* and I will be happy to send you an information booklet, which contains further details about the study.

Thank you for your support!
