Rock Choir Leader required in West Sussex

We have a rare opportunity for a charismatic and talented West Sussex-based professional musician to join our team to take over existing choirs in Worthing, Haywards Heath & Burgess Hill. This a rewarding position musically. We were the first contemporary choir in the UK and remain the most popular and high-profile. We have won three Guinness World Records, achieved two top-twenty albums, and been the subject of a three-part ITV1 documentary The Choir That Rocks. As a Rock Choir Leader, you will be fully trained for the role and will need a high standard of piano and vocal skills (Equivalent to ABRSM grade 5). You will also need a positive and energetic approach to work and a caring, happy and charismatic personality. The role of a Rock Choir Leader is versatile encompassing teaching, performing, leading, conducting, planning and administration. It is very fulfilling and rewarding but hard work! Choir rehearsals take place in term time evenings and mornings with events and performances taking place inside and outside that timetable. There are many opportunities for the Rock Choir Leaders to perform on TV, Radio and on stage at large pop-concerts including The London O2, Wembley Arena and The NEC Arena. There is a supportive and friendly HQ team who organise events, marketing, training, resources and create all the musical arrangements and resources you will need. Own car and portable piano and PA are essential. You will be able to fit your other musical endeavours around leading the choirs.
