Music Makes Me Happy
I joined WILD as an Assistant Music Worker in July 2015 because of that fact exactly music makes me happy - I never considered myself a "musician" however I had always had a strong connection with music both personally and professionally. I'm still learning to introduce myself as a musician because I am and we are all musicians!
WILD is a specialist service for young mothers under 23 years and their children. WILD is a learning and development charity, running groups across Cornwall since 1992. All of our target groups are mothers or mothers to be, commonly disadvantaged from training and employment opportunities, and experience the wider manifestations of social exclusion. WILD aims to provide young mothers and their children with opportunities to develop their skills, improve self-esteem, make positive and healthy choices, protect themselves, participate as equal members of their communities and achieve their potential.
