Sound Connections relaunches INNOVATE - apply now!

Do you need funds and support to get a new music project with disadvantaged young Londoners off the ground? Sound Connections has relaunched INNOVATE to incubate amazing new music projects.

We're excited to announce the return of Innovate, Sound Connections' programme which incubates and develops new music projects with disadvantaged young people across London.

We are inviting individuals and organisations to propose projects which will test a new idea or innovative way of working with young people through music. This may mean taking a new approach to a particularly deprived area or group, or working in a familiar way with a target group who have never before had an opportunity to make music. If you are successful, you will work in close partnership with Sound Connections to develop and deliver the project.

Surgeries are available to help you prepare your application:

Completed applications must be emailed along with your CV or profile of your organisation and project budget to projects@sound-connections.org.uk with the subject line ‘INNOVATE PROPOSAL’ by 5pm on Wednesday 10 April. We do not accept hard copies. Please email us if you have any special needs or requirements. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
