Bands are an important part of our cultural heritage and they come in wide ranging formats and styles, from traditional parade units to interpretive bands that integrate carefully designed manoeuvres as well as costumed dance into their arena shows Based in local communities, bands involve and represent their local areas, supporting social cohesion and strengthening community identity.
