Immuno suppressed Musicians

Hello everyone, we hope you are all staying well and safe and finding a way through with your projects at such a challenging time. We wanted to use our post to draw attention to the challenges that some musicians may be facing just now due to being immuno-suppressed, and the anxieties this may bring for these people, not only now, but in thinking about their work in a post Covid-19  climate.

Through our programme we advocate to support opportunities for musicians/ music leaders who may have unseen medical needs or diagnoses, and lead by example to inspire younger musicians, to show that it’s possible to achieve a fulfilling career in music.

We wanted to try and gauge at this stage if there are other music leaders out there working on Youth Music projects who are interested in the subject of immuno-suppression, from a personal perspective, or just generally, and if so, would it be useful to develop ways to support each other, share advice, promote awareness and ensure safe employability in the future.

Please get in touch at the email below if you would like to connect, and please share this post with any colleagues who you feel might benefit from knowing there are other musicians out there who are living with immuno-suppression.

Thanks and stay safe,
