Instrumental Teacher and Accompanist

Job description

Teachers will have:

  • A track record for inspiring young learners

  • Experience in teaching small groups of young people eg.2-6 people

  • Excellent musical skills

  • A commitment to teaching musicianship skills starting through the voice

  • To be able to teach a range of musical styles including composing and improvising

  • Degree level education and/or equivalent professional experience

 

Although not essential the following could be useful:

  • Experience in Large Group, Mixed Ensemble and Workshop Leading Skills

  • QTS, PGCE, Music IT skills  

Hourly rate: From £24.20 for small group teaching and £28.58 for large group/ensemble/whole class
