Support Music Practitioner Training Scheme

Job description

Thanks to funding from The National Foundation for Youth Music, CEDA Youth Services are looking to recruit multiple music practitioners who can take part in a mentoring program to improve their skills in using inclusive music making with young people with disabilities. Participation in the mentoring program will be paid at a rate of £15p/hr initially over a course of 6 sessions. Once the practitioner has completed the program, they will be added to the practitioner database at CEDA with the opportunity to run workshops, at an increased rate of £20p/hr, with our young people at after school clubs, weekends and holidays.

We would expect those who apply to have skills in musical instrumentation and/or another form of music making such as beatboxing, rapping or music technology. This role would be particularly suitable for those who have a passion for music and working with young people with disabilities, but feel they would like to be more confident in this area.
