Donnie Numeric's lyric masterclass at XLR Sessions

Donnie Numeric sparks lyrical fir at XLR

This week the XLR Sessions musicians were treated to an amzing lyric writing masterclass courtesy of Brixton based Donnie Numeric. The talented MC broke down inspiration, structure, ways to write and developed original (unsurprisingly) Christmassy lyrics with the group, which included some brand new members. 

Donnie was involved with XLR Festival 2014 to help develop creative ideas and work with the young people to find their inner lyricist. As a member of the Delegates Of Rhyme, and a prolific collaborator, working with artists from around the globe, including Brazil, America, Germany, France and more. Whilst some of the group worked with Donnie, the rest split off into the music studio and training rooms. The group working with Sophie and Joss adapted a new cover song, and began a seasonal sing along of "Joleen"! Next week the group will be practising for the KWMC Christmas performance. Exciting!
