Consider the title of this blog post for a moment...

This may seem like an obvious question, but what images does it create in your mind?

The hustle and bustle of life? Stressful living? Overly hectic schedules? The school run? The bank account? Relationship troubles? A long list of responsibilities???

I imagine the answer is a very emphatic no...

So, what does this picture represent for us.......

So, what does this picture represent for us.......

Surely it's a place of peace, relaxation, rest, tranquility, escape - this is what is says to me. You may have a different perspective. But life is loud, life is noisy, life is busy and at times we all want to get away from this...

And then there is music.....music can be loud, but it can also be very peaceful and it can take us all to a place of peace and rest, to our canopy of trees.

Let us consider for a moment the young people we work with in the music world - whether it is through entertainment or education. Where are we taking them? Many of them lead busy lives, some very stressful, some quite traumatic. But one thing they are all looking for is a place of peace and escape from it all, even if only for a little while.

Through our work with them, we can offer them this, and what a great opportunity and privilege that is. I'm excited to see where this journey takes us all in our work throughout the rest of this year :)
