Progress on sharing outcomes

2 minute video showing captured outcomes. I've been talking quite a bit on the blog about outcomes. Recently we've been doing some work on how we present that to those who pay for our services. It's starting to come together and I was excited by what we'd achieved with this so far and wanted to share.

The 2 minute video is an example of what I've been talking about around capturing outcomes and using them to influence commisioners. What you are looking at is a data sheet that a (pro bono) data specialist has built for us. It integrates with our cloud based content management system. That system is where tutors capture scores from sessions - scores based around learners answers to questions that relate to the outcomes we are trying to impact on.

We are then able to pull that data into the sheet you see and start to extrapalate what impact we are having and show that to those who are paying for the service.

This isn't the finished product but a prototype, a work in progress

I was just really excited - it's taken a lot of work to get to this point but it's starting to pay off. You can see as we flip through learners that the massive overall trend is really positive - when combined with the qualitative data we can produce from the blogs that accompany every session - we're starting to get there in terms of capturing what it is we achieve.
