How to enter

At Youth Music, we ask all of the projects we invest in to commit to sharing their learning and experiences with others. One of the reasons  we set up the Youth Music Network was to give everyone working in music-making with young people a handy place to do this.

To enter the draw, all you need to do is post your answer to one of the following questions about practice-sharing in the comments below.

  • What are the most useful things you've learned from someone else that you now use in your work? These could be pieces of advice, lesson plans, musical techniques, icebreaker games...
  • What are your favourite ways of picking up professional tips from others? It might be regular networking events, social media, newsletters, printed resources...

(If you post links in your comment, don't worry that they're not clickable: we will edit them so that they are afterwards)

The competition closes on Friday 4 September.

We will pick a winner at random from all the entries. We will contact the winners by email through the Youth Music Network: please don't post your contact details.

At the end of the competition we will collate the responses and turn these into a new resource available to all on the Youth Music Network. If you have any questions, please email network@youthmusic.org.uk.

Thanks to Dawsons Music for their generosity.
