MAC to host Sound Sense’s First “Community Music Connected” Event
On Monday 17 October 2022, MAC will host the first in Sound Sense’s Community Music Connected programme of free in-person events, in partnership with MAC Makes Music. Community musicians, practitioners and anyone involved in helping people make music are invited to join us.
Community Music Connected is a series of skill-sharing, networking and discussion days taking place in various cities across the UK. Birmingham’s event will focus on ‘lifelong music-making’. We will bring together local organisations to showcase their work, share skills, discuss ideas (and have a jam!), with the aim to strengthen our community of music practitioners, facilitators, and educators in and around Birmingham.
We want to connect the dots between organisations and individuals and celebrate creative music-making at all stages of life!
