Music From The Wild - Journey so far

We're on the final lap to the launch on November 26th at the Source, Carlisle ... And we are working with our mentors to finalise compositions and start the process of putting the EP’s together!

We have had some great masterclasses looking at Experimental music, Publishing rights, working with the voice and, still to come - bass management in DAWs. These have been successfully delivered by our mentors through online and in person sessions. A lot of ideas and progress has come through our collaboration sessions and showcases which have been brilliant for skill sharing as well as fun! Individual mentoring conversations are adding extra insight for micro grant holders, discussing how to use social platforms to our benefit, navigate the world of play lists and taking steps towards building a live set up. Other topics we've been considering are what it’s like working with a label and some of the easily forgotten steps that nobody talks about when releasing music.

All the hard work so far has been useful for our micro grant holders but also, this process has increased the teams understanding of a wide variety of issues and ideas to explore in future projects.
