Our Street Our Song Early Years Project - Sheffield - YOUTUBE CHANNEL

The OSOS Team has been working hard since the start of Lockdown to find new ways to deliver the remainder of our project.   Our main focus has been the launch of the   OUR STREET OUR SONG YOUTUBE CHANNELwhich showcases all the music making together through the project.  This is a public channel and we are liaising closely with our colleagues in Settings, hoping that it will assist them while they work remotely with their children and families, but we also intend that this will remain as an ongoing resource to all over years to come.

The OSOS Team members have also valued the professional development opportunites offered to them by learning to work with new software and acquire new technology skills 

The Channel has four sections:

Favourite Songs from this project, performed by the musicians. 

New music performed by the musicians -  songs or new lyrics created by the musicians with staff and the children involved in the project.

New music created and performed by the children and their grown-ups in the project.   

‘Cool stuff from other projects’ – links to resources created by the musicians in their other work outside this project.

We are adding content on an ongoing basis, and will continue to do so for the duration of the project, and encouraging our colleagues and families to Subscribe.
