Announcing Sound Connections' new Innovators

A project that looks to bring together Downs Syndrome support groups through musical collaboration; training and mentoring for young female musicians; music technology with children and young people in challenging circumstances; and music and play in palliative care, all make up Sound Connections Innovate programme 2017.

Huge congratulations to SkillMix, GirlsRock London, Sharon Subbarao and Pulse Arts for their creative and inspiring proposals. Innovate, funded by the National Foundation for Youth Music, provides mentoring, guidance and support to emerging artists and small grass roots organisations. Thank you to everyone that applied and we look forward to sharing stories about these brilliantly exciting projects in the months to come.
