Marsden progession

Two weeks later we have made lots of progress!

Isabella - our drummer - has particularly made progress. In her drum lessons she is learning to drum form sheet music (Which I think is incredibly hard!) and she is getting really really good at that. What we talk about though is what she does whilst playing to music. This has its advantages but the issue is when you go out of time its really obvious! So we practice keeping to a beat and she works and works at it until hey presto she can do it! 2 hours of hard work pay off for her. 

Discussing her progression with Lee - we soon realise what we need to do is give her something every week to work on. That way then she can develop as a musician better not only through reading sheet music in her lessons with her drum tutor but using her ear more when she is with us.

We now have our track with vocals and raps on. We even have a rap in italian in there!! We have used the hook of a Jennifer Lopez song and repeated that as a little link between verses. People have gone away and really looked at their lyrics and tweeked them to fit the theme. Lee has done a great job in producing the track and has themes from lots of different cultures. 

Lee has told the group that in the coming weeks he is going to take the vocals out of the track so everyone has to sing live!
