Live from Liverpool: Noise Sessions feat. The Haze

THIS WEEK SEES THE LAUNCH of the Noise Sessions, a new live video platform for Merseyside's young musicians, hosted by the Merseyside Youth Association's Noise Project.

The project has been running for the past fourteen years, in one shape or form, and has seen hundreds of young musicians pass through our doors, including Kylie Minogue songwriter Chelcee Grimes, BBC 1xtra featured Chartstalker, and a young Rebecca Ferguson.

We have launched a million musical adventures but have lagged behind in multimedia terms.  In other words, we were fast becoming your embarassing uncle.  Who once met John Lennon at the Cavern.

With the fantastic news of a two year grant from Youth Music we decided to change all this, with an innovative new live vehicle (i.e. blatant Live Lounge ripoff) that would capture our young artists' talents in glorious Technicolor, and give them a product to promote to the world.

With the help of budding young film maker Erin Kearns - and her trusty camera phone - it was a simple matter of calling up our favourite band The Haze and letting the good times roll.
