Some examples of Powerplay sessions

The young people attending the Baby People Sinfin Powerplay studio sessions have shown a lot of progress!

Having already taken part in a photoshoot, the young people are currently working their way towards finishing their mixtapes. 

VX, a young artist from Derby has shown he is a very talented Grime MC; the Baby People tutors have praised him on his writing skills and lyrical content. 

 Justice, aged 14 is a classic example of how the Powerplay project has helped improve and encourage young people to get involved with the arts. When she first attended the Powerplay sessions, she was  shy and often afraid of making mistakes, however, with encouragement from the Baby People tutors, she has vastly improved. Her spread of covers are challenging to say the least, and she most definitely does them 'justice'! 

Georgia, aged 15, started at the Powerplay studio with no hesitation; and is already well on her way to writing her 10th song. Each week she's prepared, focussed and determined to improve.She has always been keen on performing, and has since performed at many Baby People events with some great up and coming artists from Derby.
