Sound Connections announces new FREE associate membership for the London Early Years Music Network (LEYMN)

Sound Connections is developing a free associate membership level of its London Early Years Music Network (LEYMN), thanks to recent funding from Youth Music

The network was created for musicians, early years practitioners, music organisations, families, teachers and any other individuals to provide a single place to find training, news, information, resources and advice on music-making with very young children in London.

At the core of the network are a group of around fifteen experts who meet every quarter to discuss, debate and share ideas of best practice to the wider sector. They advise on training, undertake action research projects, create resources and advocate music-making with the under-5s. Find out more about our core members here.

By becoming an associate LEYMN member you become part of a larger movement of dedicated professionals, linked regionally and nationally to similar groups. We offer a free half-termly e-newsletter highlighting current sector news, national and regional issues affecting Early Years music, resources and topical debate. You'll have access to training opportunities, seminars, conferences and networking events, all with an early years music focus. There will also be opportunity to showcase your own work and see the work of others through a series of case studies and films highlighted on our website.

The best bit of all – it’s free to join.

You can become an associate member of LEYMN by signing up to receive the Sound Connections Early Years e-newsletter here.
