Looking to borrow a stage next weekend - can you help?

I'm hoping someone could help us with the loan of a stage for our final performance in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park next Saturday 31st August as part of our upcoming bilateral exchange of our disability band The AutistiX which includes musicians with Autism, together with a special band from Pamplona called Motxila 21, which includes musicians with Downs Syndrome.

Next week Motxila 21 are coming here for a week and will perform in several locations including at the Riverside Centre, on Wednesday 28th August, for people with learning difficulties and other disabilities in Bermondsey and on Saturday 31st August at the Timber Lodge in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, where we hope to get as many people coming along for our final performance.

We hope to be able to borrow this equipment for free or for a reasonable rent as we have little money, having been funded at only 2/3rds of the money requested for the project, however we really need the stage.  Ideally it would be about 7m x 3m and have a canopy and ideally lights so we could set it up outside.

It is a for a very good cause as the aim of the project is to illustrate the talent and potential of musicians with disabilities and for them to be valued more and included in society. We are showcasing their talent through their performances.

We could collect it ourselves and return it after Saturday 31st August.

If you can help, please get in touch with me by email via my profile or phone 07973835102.

Read more information about the performance here.

Many thanks,

Susan
