Rhythmix wins Charity Today Award!

Rhythmix were delighted to accept the Charity Today Disability Charity of the Year Awards!

The award is in recognition of our work with children and young people with physical and learning disabilities across the South East.

We would again like to thank everyone who voted for us and everyone who helps make this work possible - our young people, families, partners, donors, the team and our music leaders.

Speaking following the presentation of their award, our Deputy Chair Jane Humberstone said: “Winning such a prestigious award marks an important milestone for our growing charity. In acknowledging the dedication and hard work of our tutors it also recognises the transformational power of music in changing lives.”

Charity Today Executive Editor, Lee Rayment, who is also the founder of the national charity campaign #UKCharityWeek said: “We are delighted to award Rhythmix with the Disability Charity of the Year! It goes to show that hard-work really does pay-off. We congratulate them and of course The Family Fund for reaching the finals.”
