Take 1 Studios My Music Project

Take 1 Studios, an inner city music based resource for young people and families have been running a project funded by Youth Music over the past 12 months. The project supported new musicians, giving them a kick-start in their musical journey.

Young people were given access to the recording studio to work on the material they had created in group sessions in areas such as Dj skills, Music production, Vocal skills, Percussion instruments as well as receiving 1-2-1 tuition in instruments like the Keyboard, Guitar and Drums.

As a follow on we are now able to offer sessions for parents to become involved with the work and interest of their children by providing joint sessions for young people and their families to work, learn and create together.
