U CRE8 Summer Steel

A busy summer term for UCRE8 steel panners in the Northeast. Our young people supported 2 community concerts, taking part and showcasing skills that they had developed. For many this was the first time that they had performed on the pans, they did a great job ! These performances were also a part of their Arts Award, notably 'Taking Part' (Part A in the Bronze Award), some also took the opportunity to review the community arts evenings. Throughout the term we embedded the Arts Award into our music sessions.
