EnChord Young Leaders is working with 14 young people to develop their music and faciliation skills over the next two years.

Each of the Music Leaders are working with individual music mentors to either develop or enhance a music skill to become facilliation ready. Alongside the Music development the young people are working with a creative mentor who is guiding them through practitioner training and arts award accrediation.

This project is unique in many ways and the young people feel like this hands on skills building is vital in their creative professional development.

Upon completion of the programme, the young people will have:

- Gained a Silver Arts Award Accreditation

- Undergone three training days

- Managed and coordinated (with support) a school music tour

- Undergone PR and Marketing training

- 12 hours individiual music mentor and skill development

- 40 hours practitioner training

- Attended three 'go see' trips

- Shadowing music practitioners in new music settings

- Co-facilited EnChord music sessions

- Young People will have strong links with City Region Music Networks

- Young Music Leaders to be 'work ready' upon completion of the programme.
