Natalie Mason

About

Natalie Mason is a facilitator, researcher, performer and composer with extensive musical experience both in the UK and abroad. Natalie's current projects include Multicultural Music Making in partnership with Friction Arts and six settings in Birmingham and the Black Country; writing and performing with Kamura Obscura; curating live music night Club Integral Midlands Branch and collaborating as an actor-musician with Cloud Cuckoo Land. Natalie is a mentor for Cheltenham Festival's Musicate programme, works regularly with Town Hall Symphony Hall’s Education & Community team and is delivering training for mac Birmingham with Friction Arts' co-director Sandra Hall in 2020. Natalie is a Master’s graduate from SOAS, University of London. In September 2019 she begins her Ph.D. in Music (Ethnomusicology and Music Education) at University of Birmingham as a recipient of the AHRC funded Midlands4Cities Doctoral Training Partnership.
