Area Administrator

Job description

Are you passionate about facilitating the growth and success of other people in music and the arts?  Do you want to contribute to our wider musical community?  Are you interested in a calm, relaxed work environment with the opportunity for hybrid working?

We are looking for a good communicator and someone who enjoys customer focussed duties to join our team of administrators, who support our area managers in providing opportunities for children, young people, and adults to engage in musical activities across Kent. Your role will involve setting up tuition lessons across a given area, supporting the Area Manager to build ensemble groups and choirs and helping to build/maintain relationships with schools and other partners.

This is a great opportunity to get into the world of music education and to play a crucial supporting role.

About the role:

Part time, 22 - 30 hours per week

Fixed term up to one year (maternity cover)

As an Area Administrator you will provide an excellent first point of contact to parents, schools, and teachers in registering students for tuition and administering teacher portfolios.

You will be part of a wider team of Area Administrators, each working closely with their Area Manager to meet the bespoke and varied challenges of our musical communities.  Our role is to enable music to thrive in schools and music centres across Kent.
