Beginner Harmonica Course PLUS New Harmonica Choir

Beginners start from scratch with a ten-week course with the option to join the new Harmonica Choir after five lessons. Learn the fundamental techniques and some simple blues, country and folk tunes (with a bit of Beethoven thrown in).

Easy to learn, fun to play, inexpensive and widely used in many styles from folk to classical; with a harmonica you carry a world of music in your pocket.

Harmonica Choir is a new group for all players from basic level to advanced. Learn to play tunes from blues, folk, classical, jazz and popular music in parts arranged to suit all abilities. A fun way to harmonise as a group and learn new skills and tunes in the process. The Harmonica Choir runs from 7pm for an hour and a half immediately after the beginners course finishes.

This series runs over ten weeks and is led by the renowned blues and Irish traditional harmonica virtuoso and teacher Mat Walklate. Mat currently plays with the Irish traditional group, The House Devils.
