London Youth Folk Ensemble Sampler Session
Event description
On Sunday 27 September, The English Folk Dance and Song Society (EFDSS) will host a free sampler session for 12-19 year old musicians interested in joining London Youth Folk Ensemble 2015-16.
The event is an informal open audition and an opportunity to find out more about the Ensemble. During the Sampler Session, participants will get a chance to meet the tutors and to get a feel for what being in the Ensemble is like – learning folk music by ear, playing in a big band and in smaller groups.
Everyone wishing to apply for LYFE 2015/16 (whether or not you have been a member in previous years) must sign up to the Sampler session.
