Take Note: Music Aids Recovery Symposium

Event description

As part of our Musical Connections project (and in its 21st year!), we are coordinating a symposium to share our learning from this award winning project. We can now announce that the All Party Parliamentary Group for Arts, Health and Wellbeing will be delivering a keynote on their recent national report: Creative Health, The Arts for Health and Wellbeing (http://www.artshealthandwellbeing.org.uk/appg-inquiry/) .

Places are limited and cost just £14.99 (which includes lunch) via Eventbrite (https://tinyurl.com/mctakenote

Musical Connections is a participatory creative music project for isolated and vulnerable adults including mental health service users and those with a physical disability. As a result of the success of this project, our Youth Music funded Wavelength project was developed based on the Musical Connections model. We feel this event would be of interest to those working with young people as well as adults.
