Exchanging Notes: Unseen Unheard - Black Disabled Experience in the UK's Music Industry

Event description

Access to making a living in music can be amplified when you experience discrimination especially when it’s intersectional. How are organisations like Black Lives in Music and Attitude is Everything working together to break down barriers for Black Deaf, Disabled and neurodivergent people? Join us as we learn about the Unseen and Unheard Report and what you can do to help reduce barriers Black Deaf, Disabled and neurodivergent people face.

The Unseen, Unheard report last year revealed the barriers to career progression facing black Disabled music creators and music professionals in the UK. The reports aided in reframing the music industy, highlighting the intersectional barriers and what we as members of the music ecosystem can do to address these barriers.

There will be time for Q&As at the end.
