Free CPD Webinar from Awards for Young Musicians and Charanga

Introducing the Online-ILP produced in partnership between Awards for Young Musicians (AYM) and Charanga via 2 free CPD training webinars in December 2023. 

These online CPD sessions cater for instrumental teachers working on behalf of a music service or hub, in a school or on a freelance basis, and those supporting them. It’s free to attend. 

We’ll introduce you to the Online Individual Learning Plan (Online ILP), a new dynamic tool supporting young people’s independent music learning and progression. 

At the heart of the Online ILP is the relationship between the music teacher and the student. We’ll show how using the resource can encourage a more personalised approach to progression, enabling you to tailor your lessons to an individual’s needs.

We’ll demonstrate how young people access the Online ILP and all other content (your own materials included) you share with them on the Charanga platform. You’ll also be taken through the process of creating bespoke lessons for your students using Charanga’s content-building features.

Once set up, learners will be able to use the Online ILP to: 

Access YuStudio, Charanga’s beginner-friendly DAW, to create music and podcasts.

Explore rhythm, notation, composition and improvisation with Charanga’s Creative Tools.

Start learning the Bass Guitar, Electric Guitar, Drums, Keyboard, Vocal and Ukulele with a little help from Rockschool’s interactive Method books.
