Gamelan-inspired rap in an Isle of Wight prison

A wonderfully simple and authentic piece made by an intergenerational group of men and young men in an a prison on the Isle of Wight in June 2019. This track pares back the sounds to a simple Javanese drum beat and rap, and explores how this week-long gamelan project has brought the group together. This project was supported by the National Foundation for Youth Music.
