Geri's Song 2 - Cavalry School Choir

After a fantastic performance last year for Geri's Song 2, we really wanted the Cavalry School Choir to perform again.

Unfortunately due to COVID, this years performance had to be recorded and streamed online. A problem that this brought up was that there are 60 pupils in the yr 6 choir and they aren't allowed to sing together in groups more than 15!

So, each group of 15 would need to perform seperately and be filmed. These would then be edited by us and mixed with the audio. 

The teachers gave up a whole day during their half term to record a backing track that the yp would sing over. This was great workforce development for the teachers, it really reminded them how important they are as artists themselves and the impact they have on the yp. 

Aftrer the backing track was finished, the 20Tewnty team went into the school and recorded all the different groups performing. The editing process was a challenge, but we're extremly happy with the result.

The school had the most views during the live stream, peeking at just over 300!!
