The Goodwin "Beats Bus Orchestra" - 19th December Performance

The young people of Hull show off their musical talent.

The Goodwin Development Trust’s “Youth Arts Takeover” is an ambitious project built to let young people take the reins of creative and cultural events. A massive part of that is the involvement - thanks to Youth Music - of the Hull Beats Bus, a brilliant local group who work to bring music to young people across the city of Hull.

In partnership with Goodwin, they have created the “Beats Bus Orchestra”, and for the past nine months, the Beats Bus Orchestra has been working with the young people on Goodwin’s Do It project to create original music together.

The embedded video on this post is of their first performance on the 19th December 2018, which was (if we do say so ourselves) a big hit with the audience. What's especially noteworthy is that - as Dave Okwesia of the Beats Bus notes in the video -
