Opportunities for physically disabled children in Birmingham schools

We are looking for Key Stage 2 children with upper limb disabilities who are interested in free music lessons on specially adapted instruments in Birmingham!

The OHMI Trust are working with Services for Education in Birmingham to launch a teaching pilot of specially adapted musical instruments that can all be played with one hand and therefore suitable for children with a wide range of upper limb disabilities.  We are looking for any children in Birmingham schools who would like to participate in one to one music lessons and an ensemble group starting in September 2015.  Please email all expressions of interest to Rachel@ohmi.org.uk .  We are hoping that external funding will cover the costs and this will be free for the children for the year.
