Imad's Story

Imad is care expieranced young person who has been attending Boom Box sessions for the last 3 months. 

Imad said "I have really enjoyed coming to Boom Box. They taught me how to play guitar and piano, and I learned how to make some melody. First time it was hard, but I kept going till i made a song for my friend. After the session I have been meeting people from Boom Box to make more music. I would like there to be more Boom Box sessions. English is my third langauge and they have been good for me to practice English and have fun"

Nick Rogers, GMYN programme coordinator, said "Imad has been great these past three months, he has been coming to Boom Box for the social element of the programme. He has been abe to make friends and socialise with other young people. He has helped to make a song with another young participant by learning and playing piano for them and he has really enjoyed it."
