The Importance of Music in Early Years

This day long symposium aims to explore the importance of music and musical play within early childhood development.  The day will provide opportunity to reflect on current practice and consider new developments in music education with and for early years’ children.

The day will involve interactive participation through discussion, practical workshops and the dissemination of research and innovative practice relating to the field of music in early childhood in education, informal learning contexts and everyday family life.

Presented by The Spark Arts for Children in association with Talent25 and generously funded by Youth Music.
