Introduction to Music Facilitation

Event description

A free training programme in music facilitation for 18-30 year olds.

Are you passionate about music and interested in youth work? Have you ever thought about becoming a music facilitator but didn’t know where to start?

From October to December, Brighter Sound and TiPP are offering a free Introduction to Music Facilitation programme for 18-25 year olds, or up to 30 if you identify as disabled or have additional educational needs.

What is music facilitation? It’s using music to help young people explore the challenges they face, and inspiring young people to develop creative skills.

  • Learn the essentials of music facilitation
  • Meet and work with music organisations from the Greater Manchester area (Brighter Sound, TiPP, Howley Creative Development, Arc, Band on the Wall and Starling)
  • Discover how your passion for music can become a rewarding career
  • Build your network by connecting with like-minded individuals and professionals in the industry

If you’re ready to take the first step towards becoming a music facilitator and making a real difference, we want to hear from you.

The application deadline is Friday 11 October, 11pm.
