Music & Community Studio Manager

 Start Date: April 2021

Hours: 30 hours per week (4 days)

 Salary:   £16,000 per annum (Full-time salary equivalent: £20,000)

Contract length: 12 months, with option to extend subject to funding.

Location: Currently anticipated to work a combination of home-working, desk andstudio-based at Z-arts and across Greater Manchester.

 Z-arts are looking for a passionate and organised music leader to head up our music offer at Z-arts and across Greater Manchester. This is an exceptional opportunity to develop a career within the music industry based within an arts centre focused on working with children and young people. The Music & Community Studio Manager will help Z-arts to provide music education to address inclusion, equality and diversity for all young people in Greater Manchester. The Music & Community Studio Manager will have responsibility for our Levi’s Music Lab and Studio Z recording studio where they will create a culture of music making that harnesses potential and encourages all participants to build their skills and develop their talents. They will also be responsible for our new outreach project ‘Band Of Boroughs’ and will manage the freelancers and the effective delivery of this project.
