Jonny the Wolf - Rapper - Representing people with Down's Syndrome

Jonny the Wolf (aka 21 year old rapper Jonny Mottram with Down's Syndrome from York, UK) has just released his first EP-CD: Introducing the Wolf.  He has his own website too at www.jonnythewolf.com where all 5 tracks can be heard.

Jonny has worked with Tang Hall SMART CIC, since he first joined Inclusive Rock School in September 2014.  Since then he has not looked back, and has taken part in 11 videos, and concerts. These have included: York Barbican, Fibbers in York, and the Hull Festival.

Jonny was previously the focus of a Youth Music case-study, but since then has made huge progress thanks to the Youth-Music-funded project "Self Expression" which has enabled Jonny to work intensively with Sue and Neil at Tang Hall SMART, using a variety of techniques to improve clarity of expression, and the storyline of the raps that he produced.  Jonny has always had a good flow but in the past it was harder to hear what he was saying. The lyrics on the EP are so much clearer, and Jonny has been able to express his thoughts well.

Jonny wants to help others by reaching out with his music, inspiring other young people to rap! His website, which he created with Sue, expresses the joy that he brings to his work!
