Jubacana New Promo Video ( + video tips)
We are proud to release our latest promo video to celebrate our project. The video is to aid with recruitment and we believe that young people's voices should be at the forefront of videos we put out. We worked with a talented local filmmaker who we have built up a bond with over time recording our projects to film. It's important that any film makers or photographers get to know your project. From experience, if you have a film maker or photographer invested emotionally in your work, they produce much better films and photos, also young people will feel more at ease with them if they know them a little, especially when having to do interviews, which can be nerve wracking.

Jubacana is a youth-led, fusion music and performance project based in Oldham for 8-18s, inspired by the music of Brazil, Africa and South-Asia with a UK twist.
Jubacana welcomes you, and no experience is necessary! We are based in Oldham, Manchester. Whether you want to drum, dance, or both, this is the group for you to come and try something new. Inspired by the exciting music and dances of Brazil, we’ll give you a taste of Carnival with a UK twist. We make a massive sound with Brazilian drums and percussion instruments to create original music combined with vibrant, stunning choreographies. Come and create a magical blend of percussion and dance in these fun weekly workshops.
Anyone can join at any time, just let us know you’re coming. Join us for weekly music and dance workshops and rehearsals that will eventually lead to performances and opportunities.
