Beats & Bars Update

Baby People has been really busy this term with Beats and Bars programmes in schools in Derby and Derbyshire, working with more than 160 children and young people in a primary school and 5 secondary schools, both in school time and as after school clubs.

Rukus, Dwaine, Zeo, JamJam and JD have worked in Tupton Hall School, Hasland Hall Community School, Murray Park School, William Allitt School where the students made some awesome tracks, they are still working in The Bolsover School, John Port School and a pilot 'Junior Beats and Bars' at Marsh Lane Primary School and 

Students worked in small groups and wrote their own lyrics, made the music and recorded vocals and instruments to create their finished tracks.  The music genre’s vary but all the tracks are awesome!  Listen to the playlist from each school here and let us know what you think!
