A Sound Review for the Last Year

soundLINCS reached more people online than ever before last year, reaching over 136,000 people via social media and with its e-information service soundEMission being read by people as far away as Australia and Hong Kong.

This is among the findings in the organisation’s Annual Review for 2014-15, which is available now and can be viewed on their website or in paper copy.

The review gives a snapshot of soundLINCS’ year, looking at their major events and achievements and the vast range of projects that they have delivered. In the past 12 months they have provided activities in over 120 settings including rural pre-schools, urban colleges, managed woods and country parks!

It also looks forwards, focusing on the company’s plans for the future and how they can work with its new and existing partners towards providing more music-making opportunities across the East Midlands and beyond.

Rob Williams, Chair of the soundLINCS Board, said: “It’s been a phenomenal year for soundLINCS where we’ve taken part in an incredible range of events, projects, research topics and networks, and celebrated our 15th birthday in style! This review is an opportunity for us to share with you the things we feel most proud of and the aspects of our work that have made a particular impact.”
