Lancashire Sings

We are building a sound, a new sound that we are all excited by.

Over the next 6 months we aim to gather another 100 or so young voices from the county to experiment in an open way in the creation of an inclusive sound that we have not heard before. It will include voices of young people from SEN settings who have no words and incredible voices, it will give a space to passionate talented singers from all backgrounds and genres and we hope that it will become an inspiration for many more. The singers playing with this are musicleaders - Beth Allen, Ashley Murphy, Madhu Yanjorkar, Anni Tracy, Emma Williams, Joe Martin, Rachel Parsons, Aisla Nicholson, Steve Lewis - 5 young Singing Ambassadors, project manager Rick Middleton and myself. Who else is playing with new sounds? How are you doing it? Can we share how we are working please.
