Mitch Winehouse to present Rhythmix with funding and speak at Surrey Music Hub Conference on 14th July
Mitch Winehouse, father of Amy Winehouse and founder or The Amy Winehouse Foundation, will be speaking at the Surrey Music Hub Conference on 14 July 2014 at G Live
“The Amy Winehouse Foundation works to prevent the effects of drug and alcohol misuse on young people. We also aim to support, inform and inspire vulnerable and disadvantaged young people to help them reach their full potential.” Mitch Winehouse.
The Amy Winehouse Foundation will be presenting Rhythmix with funding for a new music programme that reaches out to young people with mental health issues in the South East.
Mark Davyd, CEO of Rhythmix says "We are thrilled to have the support of the Amy Winehouse Foundation for our work with young people facing mental health issues. Music is an amazing tool by which we can reach out and offer support at a challenging time for these young people. These projects will enable them to express their emotions and their concerns through their own music and lyrics, something that is incredibly important to us and the Foundation"
