The Wishing Well team in Action!

The Wishing Well Team have been working with local film maker Gani Naylor, capturing the Musicians in action at The Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital, talking to staff and families on how music has improved the hospital environment and recording the Team playing some well known and improvised songs.

The Wishing Well music programme brings live music interaction right to the bedsides of children and young people in Hospital. Using familiar repertoire and creative improvisation, the musicians encourage participation wherever possible, to soothe and empower patients, and to promote human connection through a shared musical experience.  

There has been an astonishing impact on patients/families and staff as a result of improving the Hospital "Soundscape" and we are excited to share the film with you later this summer. Look out for our announcements!
