A simple figurenotes score you can trial with your project

For any music educators / music facilitators out there that are curious to learn more about how figure notes works, I have made a simple arrangement of the popular film score for ‘James Bond’ so you can see what a figure notes score looks like. It’s a theme tune your project participants are likely to be familiar with so it should make more sense when viewing / attempting to play from the score.

I’ve made a figurenotes score and a conventional score so you can see how the two look side by side:

It’s quite a good induction piece when working with a group and trialling figure notes, most people I have explored this with find it manageable and fun!

The resolution of the score image is not very clear, if you would like me to email you the score please contact me at samdook.carousel@gmail.com

figurenotes stickers for the instruments can be purchased directly from Drake Music: http://www.drakemusicscotland.org
