Using figure-notes flash cards

An activity with figure-notes flash cards that has worked well for us:

Using figure-notes flash cards placed on the floor, the choir members conduct the band by stepping on a notes of their choice. The band plays the note and then the choir mirrors it by singing it back to the band. This has been a great pitch exercise and enabled greater understanding of figure-notes for our choir members.
