Don't miss Ten Pieces Live - Tuesday 3 Feb

BBC Music’s Ten Pieces is a BBC Learning and BBC Music campaign that encourages children to get creative with classical music, specifically ten specially selected works by composers such as Mozart, Beethoven, Holst and Britten.

Ten Pieces Live aims to inspire primary school pupils to get creative with classical music. The programme is presented by choreographer Ande Gray and clarinettist Jessie Grimes.

Musicians from Camerata Ireland will be joined in studio by a lively bunch of children who will be finding out just how much fun classical music can be. Get ready to clap, jump, dance and explore the story behind the score.

Pupils across the UK can easily get involved with this educational and energetic lesson and learn how music can create an instant atmosphere, change emotions and inspire masterpieces.

Primary schools are encouraged to watch at bbc.co.uk/tenpieces or via the BBC’s Red Button service on Tuesday 3rd February at 11.30am.  Everyone can be involved in the programme by following  Ande and his audience as they get engaged with a range of classical pieces. The programme will be available to watch again on iPlayer for the following 30 days.
